I saw her her black and white ad, shot in old newsreel style, for the first time last night. Great ad!

I like Kathy very much and will vote for her. I believe she is the best candidate in the race, by far. I also think she has been a fantastic county legislator.

However, the video sucked. Sue me for having an opinion.

Just this evening I was delighted to hear Kathy on my public radio station, WXXI AM 1370, as part of the free airtime offered to each candidate whose district encounters the WXXI broadcast area. That’s the only station I listen to, so I don’t know if she has paid radio ads in my area.

I got to know Kathy and her husband at a Buffalo Homecoming event last year, and have kept in touch. I was impressed with them as thoughtful, genuine, and intelligent people. If people in that district can manage to see things clearly despite all the mud that’s been thrown, I hope they will choose Kathy to represent them in Albany. I believe that will benefit all of us.

Wow.. That commercial blew. Probably her husband holding a video camera while having a beer. Hey Kathy… why didn’t you pay your taxes like everyone else has to? If you can’t manage your own finances how do you expect to handle the State of New Yorks?

I have to support Kathy just on the size and force of the desperate attack ads Volker and the Republican Party threw at her. Right from that early strike about the supposed voting in two locations, one in WNY and the other in Florida at the same time showed that a lot of wrok had already been done to undermine her credibility. They must have been really scared by her.
I still think the most hilarious aspect of this campaign though, is Volker, who really has not too much to show for all his years plodding along on the party line in Albany seems to be running against himself. Now he insists he wants to have the opportunity to get to Albany to cut wasteful spending. Now if he has already been in office for decades where did he discover there was wasteful spending?
    Maybe Konst told him.
Anyway this whole election is going to be pitching out the same ol’ same ol’ and getting some fresh talent trying new and better ways to do things.
