His refusal to engage with WGRZ just earned him a few points in my book…What a bunch of parasites.

@ Humanist — If Delano actually talks that way, that makes him not all that different from Bill “How Dare Someone Run Against Me” Sta-how-ski or Sta-cow-ski (depending on the day) and, frankly, not all that much different from the majority of folks he’d represent were he to win.

The incumbent has managed to swim in the Albany pond for nearly three decades without making a single ripple. While I don’t like that Delano hasn’t opened his mouth much, at least it has forced the incumbent, with all the incumbent advantages, to say something for a change.

Now, where is that “none of the above” lever on this ballot?

That was just a rude, ignorant, and hateful comment…why promote hate?

If you dislike the man, dislike the man for his campaign…don’t do it because he doesn’t look or talk like you.

I didn’t realize being a “man of the people” gave one license to blow off the media and voters to order run a stealth campaign.

Can any of you name even one policy position Delano has taken other than “he’ll free you if you’re wrongfully convicted”?

Take a gander at his website…I can’t for life of me see what the hell he’s going to do in Albany, other than investigate unsolved crimes.

Humanist — I don’t think anyone here is giving Delano a free pass because he’s “a man of the people.” At least I’m not. But your first post seemed more intent on mocking his speech pattern and not his lack of contact with the public.

I have no idea how effective a legislator Delano would be but, let’s face it, how long is the list of accomplishments from the incumbent? Delano is running a stealth campaign, no doubt. But “Stack” is the ultimate stealth incumbent who seems to have mastered the real life version of a line from a song by the Gin Blossoms — “If you don’t expect too much of me, you might not be let down.”

I swear to fucking Christ I’ve walked into a remake of Being There, with Dennis Delano playing Chauncey Gardiner.

That was funny. Made me laugh out loud.

Mean? Yeah, but it was still funny.

I’m also interested in the sorry that he hadn’t voted in years and even had his name removed for a few elections due to inactivity in his account so to speak. The same charges were made against Patrick Gallivan and i had a problem with them then too but the I think Doogie turned out to be a pretty good sheriff in spite of the fact that he was never much of a voter. I do believe still that you need perfect attendance on voting day if you want to ask people for their votes, maybe Gallivan was the rule proving exception.

    or the” story” not sorry….errrr

I agree with Hardwick. If you want my vote, you have to convince me you deserve it.

Humanist, you’re too late… I made a Being There reference last week.
