    Official Mike Hudson 2008 Prediction;

two weeks after the election, traffic numbers at buffalopundit will crash and burn like something flown by steve fosset.

  2. FoxyLacy November 3, 2008 at 7:59 pm #

So why do we bother to drag ourselves out to vote if the Electoral College is in charge?

  3. Ward November 3, 2008 at 9:17 pm #

This is probably too late to catch Pundit’s eye, and may have broken past his Obama Juggernaut deadline:

A report from the independent investigator named by the Alaska Personnel Board concludes that the Legislature’s special counsel, former state prosecutor Steve Branchflower, used the wrong state law as the basis for his conclusions and also misconstrued the evidence.

    His findings and recommendations include:

    – There is no cause to believe Palin violated the state ethics law in deciding to dismiss Monegan as public safety commissioner.

    – There is no cause to believe Palin violated the state ethics law in connection with Wooten.

    – There is no cause to believe any other state official violated the ethics act.

    – There’s no basis to conduct a hearing to “address reputational harm,” as requested by Monegan.

Geek, I’ll tell you what to bank: Pundit will not accede to this.

This is the first election year that I finally understand the electoral college. It only took thirty years! Now that I get it I’m obsessed with playing the electoral map game. Yours looks good to me. Does 356 electoral votes make a landslide?

  5. therising November 3, 2008 at 11:00 pm #

    What defines a landslide?

  6. WNYPMH November 3, 2008 at 11:14 pm #

Hudson….guess the readers and posters at Pundit will all flock to the NF Reporter? Whatever.

@Ward – sigh….we’re almost near the end and yet you still cry out to be debunked. I will so miss this election season. Not.

“independent investigator named by the Alaska Personnel Board”? That would be the investigation that Palin herself initiated, by filing an ethics complaint against herself. The three members of the Personnel Board were appointed by Palin, and she cooperated with the investigation, unlike the independent investigation conducted by the state legislature which Palin stonewalled and did her best to throw off the tracks.

“the Branchflower report misconstrued the available evidence and did not consider or obtain all of the material evidence that is required to properly reach findings.”

Meaning that the evidence Gov. Palin herself refused to produce should have been considered….had it been submitted. Which it wasn’t. Pity that.

Can you now finally say CAMPAIGN FAIL with the rest of us?

wnywhatever…i forbid regular buffalopundit readers and posters from visiting the niagara falls reporter site. exceptions include hank, splett, russell, burke, carlotta and the others who refused the kool-aid and have for the most part been driven away from here.

pundit will not be the only one to suffer, of course. at politico, they’re predicting layoffs as soon as next week. dailykos, buzzflash, smirking chimp etc. will all have drastic traffic declines and/or cease to exist. i’d imagine olberman, maddow & matthews’ numbers on msnbc will all take a big hit. in fact, all of the phony media that has sprung up around the obama will suffer with their man now making the decisions.

this media was created solely to oppose the bush administration and the war, and then morphed into blind devotion to a single man as representing all that is noble within us. with the economy continuing to decline, the war in afghanistan escalating and withdrawl from iraq certain to lead to a spike in casualties, we shall see how long this 7-to-10 point love affair on the part of the fickle american electorate lasts. don’t forget that when bush landed on that aircraft carrier and proclaimed mission accomplished, is approval rating across the united states was 90 percent, so it doesn’t take long.

pundit voted for bush for fucksakes.

in any event, a landslide these days would be anything in the double digits.

    1. I never voted for Bush either time. Already told you that. Hope that helps.

    2. Has Battaglia been arrested, arraigned, or charged yet?

    3. I have no doubt that my traffic will decrease after this week, as it does all the time after election day. The great thing? It could go down to zero, and I wouldn’t care.

    4. I’m sorry your brain is broken. I hope you find help soon.

    5. When are you going to put coupons in your paper?

  11. al-alo November 4, 2008 at 9:51 am #

id add Georgia & Montana to that prediction. And maybe since im feeling a bit wild AZ!!

  12. Ivan November 4, 2008 at 2:09 pm #

Well, for what it’s worth I think McCain will take two of the following:
Nevada, Colorado, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia or North Carolina.
    Time will tell………..

  13. WNYPMH November 5, 2008 at 12:57 pm #

Hudson…the drinking (koolaid or otherwise) ain’t happening in Punditville….The question is whether the traffic will slow down in your mom’s basement speakeasy?

  14. WNYPMH November 5, 2008 at 12:58 pm #

And that list you gave is a real allstar team. Yep, so long as you don’t have to include facts, but no one has ever accused you of trafficking in fact or reality for that matter.
