Weirdest. Quote. Ever.

26 Jan

County Legislator Betty Jean Grant reports:

“I had a couple of drug dealers tell me that they aren’t going to use the N word anymore,” she reports. “They told me they are going to call all African-Americans ‘Obamas’ now because that’s what we all are. That was really remarkable to me because it tells me that things are really changing thanks to Barack.”

I don’t even know where to go with that.

Unfortunately she also regaled everyone at last years Democratic Committee gathering about how she was registering all these ex-felons she found at the Downtown Public Library. Note to Betty Jean: this is probably not the best way to support your local library.

Voted to the common council. Voted to the ECL. Also was on the Buffalo School Board for 3 years.

And people wonder why whitey moved to Amherst.

“Obamas” is easier to spell and doesn’t require the use of a hyphen.

Gee, I wonder how many of those drug dealers have white moms, Kenyan dads, grew up in Hawaii and Indonesia, attended elite private schools, and have law degrees from Harvard…

    “we’re all obamas”??????????????????? riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

I didn’t realize that the county legislature was so cool about cavorting with drug dealers. Noted!

You mean the drug dealers that regularly congregate in her living room?

And that’s the smartest thing I can recall her saying

That is not weird by Betty Jean Grant standards.

Why are ANY of our county legislators talking to drug dealers?
