We in Buffalo need infomercials like this, please God:

Now THAT’S how you sell leather!

PUNDIT, NOOOO! I thought I had escaped!

These are the most annoying and painful ads in the world. They’ve been on for YEARS, and just when you think they are gone, one that is EVEN MORE BIZARRE shows up! And trust me, this is not atypical of his ads, they are ALL like this. Rambling about useless topics and then somehow connecting it to leather.

Trust me, as someone who splits his time between the FAILsvilles of Utica and Buffalo I have seen a lot of crappy locally-produced commercials (Fucillo, anyone?) but this one often takes the cake.

[[Now of course I say “useless topic”, but I don’t mean to discount his point. Just trying to convey the fact that these ads are beyond bizarre (for a leather ad?!) and totally unrelated to his subject.]]

I did not watch the video, but the Leather Store skit from SNL comes to mind. Oh the funny and the creaking sounds of Leather against Leather and stiff walk. Watch the skit.

I love it. That’s what I call advertising.

The only commercial that I’ve ever seen that approaches the awesomeness of Forever Leather is from Jim “The Hammer” Shapiro. What is it about the ‘Cuse?
