Who Am I?

21 Apr

I held a public demonstration without interference from the police. I did not need to pay money, have my speeches or signs vetted, or obtain a license or permit. I held part of the rally on a sidewalk, street, and plaza built and maintained with taxpayer money. A teach-in was held at a privately owned bar. The entire event was a triumph of the constitutional guarantees of free speech without prior governmental restraint, freedom of assembly, and to petition the government for redress. I claim to have no liberty.

I held a public demonstration without interference from the police.

Why should the Police interefere if no laws are being broken?

Don’t worry, the Obama Internal Defense force—modeled on the SA and Hitler Youth, will be in operation soon. Then the police won’t have to bother. Street fighting ala Germany 1925-32 will begin.

I did not need to pay money,

No citizen should have to pay a penny to protest the actions of the Government.
Obama is NOT Henry VIII, or IS HE?

have my speeches or signs vetted,
That would be Censorship–to so so would be a violation of the Constitution.

Do the KKK report to the Democrats to have THEIR Signs vetted?

or obtain a license or permit.

AGAIN–No citizen should have to pay a penny to protest the actions of the Government. OR ask for government permission to do so.
Obama is NOT Henry VIII, or IS HE?

I held part of the rally on a sidewalk, street, and plaza built and maintained with taxpayer money.

Good! EVERYONE THERE WAS A TAXPAYER, with the exception of the counter protestors, who don’t work, so they don’t pay them. Perhaps the counter protestors should have gotten the fuck off the areas paid for by taxpayer money—which would put THEIR asses in the lake.

A teach-in was held at a privately owned bar.

Should it have been held at a PUBLICALLY OWNED BAR? Or one paid for by Taxpayer money?

The entire event was a triumph of the constitutional guarantees of free speech without prior governmental restraint, freedom of assembly, and to petition the government for redress.

    Sounds right to me.

Suggestion—change the name of the blog to BUFFALO KOS.

That tea party was organized by a committee of about ten people. The coordinator was Jill Sinclair, who I met in February.

As for the liberty to have a rally, we can thank old Jefferson, to whom we owe most of what is right about American government.

I have a theory about the Constitution. They uphold just enough of it to prevent an uprising. For example, speech, voting, procedural (not substantive) due process. No big favor.

If the Feds ever outlawed free speech, you’d have fighting in the streets and the people would win because political power is ultimately based on smoke and mirrors. So, for free speech, you can really thank all those privately-owned guns you liberals are so afraid of.
