Tray-Duh

25 May

Here are some charming Nassau County Republicans – proud members of the party of ideas – showing the utmost of decorum during a press conference held with Nassau County Executive Tom Suozzi.

And the indignant calls of “Tray-duh” were heard across the land.

Haha – yeah right. Suozzi and his recruit were highlighting their “ideas” and showing utmost “charm” by staging their little partisan stunt directly outside the HQ of their opponents. Those two revealed themselves to be political party hacks every bit as much as the Nassau Repubs. Typical mindless partisanship on both sides.

On another note, I wonder if there’s any indignant outrage about County Executive Suozzi attempting to help elect supporters to his county’s legislature.

Republicans are so lost right now, it’s almost hard to watch.

    Almost.

I didn’t defend them in the least. And I’ve no reason to think a crowd of Nassau Dem loyalists wouldn’t be equally idiotic and vulgar if Repubs staged a party flip two feet from their HQ.

In the first comment I said the Nassau Repubs are mindless partisans. That’s a pretty solid insult. I don’t disagree with calling them assholes also for that behavior, nor would I disagree with putting that same label that day on Suozzi and his new friend. They went out of their way to poke their fingers in somebody’s eyes, and then the somebodies upped the ante by basically spitting back in their face. Not my favorite kind of people on either side of the fence there.

It all reminds me of a few years ago when Terrell Owens on the 49ers at the time walked to the Dallas Cowboys 50 yard line logo before a Monday night game and stomped his foot on it in front of the crowd, cameras, and Cowboys players. Not surprisingly, some of the Cowboys players went over and shoved him to the ground. Idiots all around.

And for another thing, I don’t see much difference between these Nassau Repub partisan idiots calling the very rude legislative candidate what they did and you calling people vulgar names with any partisan factor as motive — for one example, Joe the Plumber as I recall.

Did Pundit call NotJoe the NotPlumber “McCain’s whore”? I must have missed that post….

The defense of the Nassau County Neanderthal Republicans resembles how these knuckle-draggers feel about rape: SHE WAS ASKIN FOR IT!!! OHHHHHH!

Huge difference between constitutionally-protected verbal attacks and illegal physical attacks.

Anyhow, I never said she deserved verbal attacks. Personally, I’d never launch any, and I’d never do what she did either. I just pointed out she and Suozzi were obviously very rude and obnoxious. If a conservative female (and/or male) staged a rude obnoxious media stunt at some Dem HQ and had the same bad names shouted at her/him, yeah I’d also call her/him rude and obnoxious – as well as the people shouting.
