so i’m watching this on tv, and geoff kelly comes on the screen, and a visiting guest here who has no way of knowing who he is asks, “is this guy retarded? he sounds like a retard.”

  3. mike hudson September 15, 2009 at 9:19 pm #

seriously. was he in an accident or something?

  4. mike hudson September 15, 2009 at 10:10 pm #

byron’s winning by 20 points? that’s what they just said on tv.

well, to wrap up, geoff’s kelly’s 9:10 p.m. prediction of a “close race” shows that maybe he is actually retarded. i’d imagine there’s some celebration down artvoice/wnymedia way that alice kryzan finally won something, though. the crypto-racism implied by the very existence of the kearns campaign was appalling.

Who is retarded? Geoff Kelly or Byron Brown or Mickey Kearns? I’m confused.

I think you need to figure out how to use CoverItLive. There were hundreds of comments there, and yet there may not have been a single one as ignorant as any of your six here.

saw it. really bothered me there were so many anti-colored there. pretty much the same rudnick/hsbc/buffalo news crowd that foised anti-colored gop candidate kevin helfer upon the unsuspecting citizenry.

Buffalo News website has headline: “Brown Easily Wins Second term”

I thought this was a primary and the general election is in nov…

Not in Buffalo, Mike. Last republican mayor was elected 49 years ago. Whatever empty headed jack-ass the Dems put up is who the people will vote for. All the Union Members, all the government workers and appointees, the seniors who are told all their programs will go away.

Remember only 33% of the electorate put Brown in there in the first place.

These voters feel about the status quo like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson feel about racism—if it goes away, they’re fucked.
