Mad as Hell

20 Mar

So, it’s semi-official. The “mad as hell” schtick is already getting old, though. I’d like to see concrete policy and procedural proposals. Will Paladino democratize state government, or transform three-men-in-a-room into one-man-in-a-room? Who knows? Ideas matter more than simple anger.

Also, Paladino’s history of political donations make it clear he’s more transactional than principled in his politics. Hillary Clinton, Dick Gephardt, John Kerry, and Brian Higgins aren’t known as tea party heroes. Here are the results for Ellicott Development in state races. Results for Paladino in Erie County races. He gave to Suozzi and $6,000 to Spitzer/Paterson.

Love him as a landlord and for getting the 190 tolls wiped out but man, his politics: scary (as they say)…as Hell.

    Pundit’s Paladino meme emerges.

Paladino = not D = no longer any fun.
Enjoy your coming love affair with Cuomo.

Wow. Paladino has no idea how bad he’s going to do with that rap in this state, budget woes or not. By the way, whose money is he going to be wasting in this vanity campaign?

Perhaps he doesn’t feel like a debate about how throwing a brick through Rep. Slaughter’s office, or calling Rep. John Lewis a “nigger,” Rep. Barney Frank a “faggot,” and spitting on Rep. Emanuel Cleaver are all examples of healthy political expression.

In other words, the Tea Baggers can kiss our ass with all their idiocy.

Pundit – Robert Reich and I are really upset about the co-option of the Mad-as-Hell party label. Carl maybe mad, but it more like mad as in insane type mad. From now on please refer to Carl and Co. as the Coo-Coo as Hell party, or if that is taken, Bat Shit Crazy party works too.

Personally, I am Angry-as-Hell in spite of my public school education. I think the whole problem with this country is that poor people are getting too much from the wealthy elite. I suggest a duel to the death between the rich and the poor, which no one in the middle will attend.

One thing we can be sure of in your suggested match up, the rich are vastly outnumbered…

10 million on a campaign? Why not use that money to fix up some of his dilapidated buildings? It is outrageous that this guy will waste 10 million on a race he could never win but wont spend a few thousand to secure the Greystone Building.

Paladino is correct on one front; Rick Lazio is s sure loser.
