It occurred to me last night that this video represents pretty much the one and only time Carl has been caught off-guard with no pugilistic talking points and nothing coherent to say in response to tough questioning. Why is that?

What are the dates of the Judicial Nominating conventions?
That was a great moment for Ch.2’s Aaron Sakin. He deserves great credit for that interview, but where are the other tough interviews, the other reporters? Ron Plants goes after Andrew Cuomo like an attack dog. His bias toward Cuomo is embarassing. But I see no Buffalo reporters going after Paladio. The NEWS’ Bob McCarthy is almost part of Paladio’s campaign team. The failure to launch any reporters on Paladio’s campaign should put Buffalo’s TV news departments into the hall of shame.
I tune-in to the local news for the lead story. If I’ve heard it, I’m gone. At night its Jon Stewart. Apparently everyone else has too. Channel 2’s noon news has gone bye-bye. Maybe they didn’t get the memo that people might like tough reporting, not fluff, not more product testing.
