Lord these things can be silly and inane.

Perhaps it is a sign of the times. With texting and such perhaps extended compositions of personal reminisce has passed.

Listening to declamations read by trained actors was a wonderful, albeit lost art that disappeared completely with radio. But I don’t understand the purpose of reading Viewpoints aloud when there are so many more famous (and better written) declamations from the past to choose from .

I think Murdoch or some evil force has invaded the News to destroy our information network. For about ten days I have been blocked from all the blogs without explanation.
In the meantime I have forwarded my comments to the various reporters but that is like throwing them into the wind. I get no response and no review.
Since their idea of communication has become a one way street I will rely on the Times and internet for information.
Perhaps their embrace of the mediocre is a sign that the final dementia has captured the imagination of the Buffalo News.
    Requiescat in Pace, News.
I knew thee, long ago, when thou were strong.
