    This has nothing to do with Six Sigma, and everything to do with the fact the woman is a union employee and only she can post things to the website. Job security.

    I don’t place a lot of significance in an award from an organization that costs $3050 for a membership for a County the size of Erie. Gee, only 63 Certificates of Excellence were given out across NYS for 2009.

    If it is the same person who I worked with when I dealt with media at the County Legislature, she is a friendly, hard working, diligent and probably still overworked employee who happens to be a member of a union. But good try at the condemning with union membership meme, William.

    Yeah she was probably having her lipo and lasiks done with her union benefits Willie. After all we’ve seen how unions have destroyed the auto industry and caused so many fatalities to coal miners. I hope you get the chance to join one some day, you might learn to stop repeating the talking points of billionaires who’d love to do away with unions safety inspections and child labor laws too. Idiot.

    c’mon, Rasta–
    Nobody should have to pay for the privilige of working. If there are safety concerns, you have Big Government EPA or OSHA to handle it. Grieveances? NLRB. Insurance? ERISA. All Unions are now are organizations that extort money from workers to funnel it to Democrat and Liberal Politicians. Plant decides to close and move overseas/down South/Out West? Screw you, Pal. We took your dough, and now we’re moving on to the next group of suckers.
    How else could Wisconsin teachers get NINETY DAYS PAID SICK TIME?? Where I work, the company has a rule—DON’T COME TO WORK—-DON’T GET PAID. Folks calling in sick? nearly nil. No Personal Days—Work days belong to the company—not the employee. Don’t get them. Want to take a Personal Day? USE YOUR VACATION. It’s not hard. Nobody feels like we need a Union, and none of us want to pay a group of thugs for “protection”, which is all they’re selling.
