I’ve heard from several sources that the young woman operating camera two is named Emily Hunter. She’s a young Rochester-area Republican operative, and I’ve been working the phones trying to confirm this. Unsurprisingly, a call in to the Corwin campaign has not been returned.
Ms. Hunter is a recent University of Rochester graduate who was on Chris Lee’s payroll last summer. It’s fun to me how many of Corwin’s campaign staffers are Lee deadenders who want quite desperately to keep their sweet federal jobs and bennies.
Socialists.
I’m quite eager to ask her whether, as alleged by Tricky Nick Langworthy and the Corwin “campaign,” that the batteries were dead in the camcorder she was holding behind Michael “Horshack” Mallia on that fateful night when Mallia obstructed Jack Davis’ path to his car, yelling “coward!” at him. Everyone wants to know what’s on the tape she shot, and everyone wants to get her take on batterygate.

Ms. Hunter may currently be employed by Sen. Ranzenhofer.
“Operative” is way too strong a term for these clowns, and insults actual operatives. Virgilio González, Bernard Barker, James W. McCord, Jr., Eugenio Martínez, and Frank Sturgis think these guys suck.
I feel as though this has gone way too far. What difference does it make what is on the other video? Nothing. We should be focusing on the actual issues and the plans that the candidates have for our area. It is unbelievable that you have nothing better to do than drag this story on.
What is on the other video will either confirm or put the lie to what Nick Langworthy and the Corwin campaign said about Jack Davis’ reaction to being accosted by Corwin’s Assembly Chief of Staff. I can only write “Jane Corwin wants to end Medicare as we know it and permanently codify pointless, economically harmful tax breaks for individual millionaires at the expense of the middle class” only so much.
Agreed, Brian. “Flunkie” seems more apt.
@Annoyed: you make me respect WNY Media’s regular Republican and conservative commenters. They show up regularly and have at it with fervor while your ilk has just shown up in the last few days, whining, “STOP PICKING ON JANE!!!!!”. You must really believe its hurting Calamity’s clown-car campaign.
Hey buffalopundit. Don’t you think its time to focus on real issues? You keep forgetting that it was Davis who assaulted Mallia. Not the other way around. Your story keeps evolving based on unfounded, untrue assumptions and has turned into a complete lie
It amazes me the amount of time that is spent on nonsense. If the other video comes out and shows Davis being called a coward his actions would be justified? I don’t think so. Either way, Davis was in the wrong and too much time and energy is benig focused on Mallia.
lb and Annoyed:
One and the same, repeating(more or less)the same points?
I report, you decide.
They distort, we deride…
Obviously this should not be an issue. But the Corwin campaign, or someone affiliated with her campaign, made and released this video into the public domain and so made it an issue. With the release, Davis is accused of “assaulting” Corwin’s staffer. Assault is a specific and series violation of the NY Penal Law. The video released does not show whether or not, or how, Davis’ allegedly struck (or not) the staffer. And then there is the question of the motives, tactics and judgment of the folks Corwin chooses to represent and work for her. Something for which she alone can bear responsibility. Finally, now there is a possible coverup which possibly includes a blatant lie from Corwin’s senior campaign staff about an allegedly “dead battery.” If the Republicans would have chosen a better candidate, not simply going with a wealthy pin-up quality talking head, this election would be yawner.
A dead battery cover up? Too funny, better get the energizer bunny on the story , it just keeps going and going and going
