Andrew Cuomo and Reductio ad Hitlerum

1 Mar

At yesterday’s WBEN-sponsored gun rally in Albany, where we were meant to understand that a reduction of legal maximum magazine size from 10 to 7 is a Constitutional infringement, there were the predictable ad hominem attacks against Governor Cuomo. Some of the protesters likened the Governor of New York State to Adolf Hitler, the genocidal totalitarian dictator of Germany from 1933 – 1945, who waged total war against free peoples throughout the world. So, here’s a handy chart to help set that record straight.

Gun Owners Pretend Behaving Like You’re Calling in to WBEN is OK in Real Life

30 Jan

When you get gun owners angry about the coming confiscation and equate it with the holocaust, you get ugly scenes like the one yesterday at the Clarence library. One presenter relates that they were there to show a Powerpoint to educate people about the NY SAFE Act, and instead of taking a few minutes and some questions, they were continually heckled and yelled at; the “meeting” took 3 hours, with people in camouflage taking over the podium at times, claiming that this was about “Nazis” starting a “new holocaust”.

The “responsible gun owners” aren’t comporting themselves very responsibly.

Gun meeting draws anger in Clarence

The Sky is Falling!

This is a great comment from a Gawker thread regarding the President of the United States and how the Fox News Republicans have dealt with him:

There’s been no major scandal because of all the little ones that Republican pundits and talk show hosts keep pushing. They’re lobbing spitballs at the President instead of saving up for a pipe bomb.

Seriously:

Arugula
Mustard
Birth Certificate
Teleprompter
Ipod gift to the Queen
Flag at Ground Zero
Flag Pin
Expensive Hotel meals in NYC
$200 million/day trip to India
Michelle not wearing at hat in Ireland
Not saluting or doing the hand over heart thing during the anthem
Showing up too early to a disaster
Showing up too late to a disaster

etc…

Half of them are false, half of them are unimportant. They’ve wasted their ammo on bullshit and are now screwed. Even with a major scandal, no one of consequence will believe you or pay attention.

They’re like the screw up in class. They start playing pranks on the teacher. The first few times it’s funny. You are conditioned to make fun of the teacher. It’s us against her. After a while, it gets old, so you stop laughing. Then she helps you on your homework or gives you extra credit and you start to feel bad for her when she sits on a tack for the 20th time because she can’t turn around and slap the kid. Eventually everyone turns on the the kid who lacked the social insight to know when the tide turned and everyone realized he was a bully.

Anatomy of A Dumb Rightist Blog Post

1 Mar

1. Have your feelings hurt because someone else called you out for blatant partisan hypocrisy.

2. Put finger to keyboard. Take a stated fact – “Ian Murphy is considering a run for Congress” – and extrapolate from that support and complete agreement with every facet of Ian Murphy’s existence.

3. Conduct a comprehensive Google search until you find something that Ian Murphy once wrote that you can hold up as evidence of Murphy’s unacceptability as a human being. (In this instance, an opinion piece from the Buffalo Beast called “Fuck the Troops“.)

4.  Ignore the substance of the text to which you link – whether it be the blog post or the Murphy piece – and instead comment on the profanity and the introductory paragraphs of the Murphy piece.

5. Pretend like the “Fuck the Troops” piece is the thing that Murphy and the Beast are best-known for. Completely ignore the existence of the “Loathsome” lists.

6. Because I wrote something about Ian Murphy without calling him a loathsome failure of a human being, extrapolate from that that I completely support and agree with everything he’s ever done or said. This is an extension of the Law of Hannity, where any given Democrat is called upon to condemn the supposed sins of every other Democrat, ever.

7. Get the vapors over the “f” word.

8. Lie. A lot.

9. Continue to ignore completely the fact that the last guy you fervently supported for NY-26, and whose press releases you dutifully regurgitated, suddenly quit.

9. Thank the troops for something unrelated to the troops’ mission.

10. Pepper the post with elementary-school-level writing, such as, “Bedenko thinks this is good writing and Murphy is congressional material.”

I liked it better when they accidentally let this version slip last week. Its creative, outcome-based spelling method was entertaining:

The Democrats, WFP, and Green Party have not yet rushed into selecting a nominee for a special election that hasn’t been called, and I haven’t expressed support for any candidate – named or unnamed.  Monroe Rising’s Richard Saunders lies – quite obviously and undoubtedly.

I will donate $100 to an Iraqi war veteran’s nonprofit support organization if someone from Monroe Rising will point out precisely where in this blog post I express support for Ian Murphy for Congress.

David DiPietro Emails Carl Paladino #SD59

15 Oct

About a week ago, the following email chain was  begun by a Grand Island-based tea party activist named Mike Madigan (it was sent to me and a variety of other local media and business types):

To which Tea Party State Senate candidate David DiPietro (SD-59) replied – to all…

Whoa-whoa-whoa. “Please remove me from your distribution list.” Now? Why now?

David DiPietro is Carl Paladino’s friend, right? Paladino is credited as having convinced DiPietro to run for the Volker seat again. Why, they even share lawnsigns – that DiPietro paid for – throughout the 59th State Senate district.

That alliance – and friendship – is likely strained now in light of Paladino’s 11th-hour endorsement of Jim Domagalski in the Republican primary for SD-59. It was a very public rift, publicly embarrassing DiPietro, and revealed more about Paladino’s opportunistic character than any “abortion clinic landlord” story or “gay club landlord” story ever could.

So, now at long last David DiPietro doesn’t want to know from Carl Paladino’s emails, and he wants this entire recipient list to know it.

Yet David DiPietro wasn’t always so displeased to be on Carl Paladino’s email distribution list. In fact, on at least two occasions, he contributed to it.

Nestled amidst Carl Paladino’s many salacious, racist, and equestrian emails disclosed to WNYMedia.net were two that were forwarded to Carl by his erstwhile friend, tea party candidate for SD-59, David DiPietro.

DiPietro’s political rhetoric is informed by a hodgepodge of anarcho-capitalist libertarian, anti-immigrant, right-wing conservogabber philosophies.  He hates Barack Obama almost as much as he hates Jim Domagalski and Pat Gallivan.

So much so, in fact, that DiPietro forwarded an email accusing President Obama of being a Muslim. DiPietro sent the email, entitled “Heeza Muzzlim…that’s why” to a small handful of people, including Carl Paladino. Carl, in turn, sent the email to an unknown set of emails hidden behind a bcc. The email itself:

As with most emails such as these, people who don’t know how to use email or the internet tend to forget to check Snopes (or Factcheck.org) before forwarding hateful, untrue, utter nonsense to their friends.  Snopes has an entry for the above-shown email, and describes it as FALSE.

Obama didn’t go to Saudi Arabia during that trip. He didn’t go to any of the small handful of countries in the entire world that are governed by Sharia Law, which differs from culture to culture. Even if he had, there is no prohibition in Sharia law against wives accompanying their husbands on trips, and Sharia law wouldn’t apply to a visiting dignitary like Obama, anyway. Oh, also – Obama isn’t Muslim.

It’s amazing that dumb Obama-muslim-secret-sleeper-agent nonsense is circulated at all, and even more so when it’s being shared approvingly between public political figures.

The second email forwarded by DiPietro to Paladino, which the gubernatorial candidate later forwarded to his email list, contained a powerpoint presentation that is more or less NSFW.

The Powerpoint is stupid and juvenile. It features jokes about the relative attractiveness of French women vs. American women, it jokes about the female form vs. the male form, it jokes about French promiscuity and Moroccan bestiality, and it makes an asinine joke about women shopping and men masturbating, featuring images of kids. I have modified the slideshow to redact female breasts and male genitalia.

[HTML1]

I wrote to DiPietro on Wednesday, and sent the following email:

Please note that your response may be used in a WNYMedia.net post. If you have no response, I may note that, as well.

Regarding the emails discussed below, the questions I have are as follows:

1. Why did you wait until _now_ to ask Carl Paladino to remove you from his email list? Why did you feel compelled to hit “reply to all”?
2. Do you think that President Barack Obama is a Muslim?
3. Do you think that the “Brilliant” powerpoint presentation, showing mild female nudity, makes a joke about bestiality, and shows a woman’s bare breasts, capped off with pictures of toddlers is in good taste? Does it comport with the ideals of the tea party movement?
4. Regarding your request that Carl remove you from his email list dated 10/12/10, you were only too happy to be the sender and recipient of pornographic and propagandistic nonsense in 2008 and 2009 (I only highlight the materials you forward to Carl below – you received many more). Why didn’t you opt out before?
5. On your campaign site, you state that the Park51 community center is “destructive to the moral fiber of the United States”. What about pictures of naked kids and perpetuating lies about the President ?

Of the many emails that were disclosed to WNYMedia.net from Carl Paladino’s sordid emailing history, two of them were emails that you had forwarded to Carl. One contained a pornographic powerpoint presentation entitled “Brilliant”, the last frame of which shows a boy, maybe 1 year old, holding a remote control in one hand, and his penis in the other. The header appears as follows… (omitted)…

…The other, entitled “Heeza Muzzlim, that’s why”, which you forwarded to Paladino on 12/12/09, contains the following text: (see above)

DiPietro has not responded to that email.

Obama is a socialist?

27 Mar

I’d like to share a recent e-mail I received from someone named Michael Gostowski, a reader who evidently loathes me, my blog and the entirety of WNYMedia.net.  Also, black people.  Aside from breaking this into a couple of paragraphs to make reading easier, the grammar was left as originally sent to convey the sheer lunacy of the communication:

hey socialist fuckass,
ive been reading your blog for around a year now. I know who you are and ive heard you on the radio talking your socialist commie shit. what the fuck is wrong with you? says on your blog that your a veteran and your brohter still serves in the middle east. how can you support a muslim president who would rather see your brother die in the desert than have them fight for liberty and the safety of real americans?

and how can you get behind this socialist reform bill that takes away your american rights given by god? when george washington wrote the constitution, he wasn’t kidding when he said this would be a christian country with presidents born in this country. if he wanted a socialist country, he would have written the constitution to say we were a bunch of socialist faggots who are willing to give away half our money to lazy thieving people who would rather pump out kids, collect welfare and live off the sweat of my brow. now, these people will get free healthcare, i’ll be forced to pay for it and i’ll have to go to jail if i dont. how is that america?

the founding fathers would be ashamed of what we’ve become and blogs like yours make it seem as if your not part of the liberal media elite but you are and your hurting your country by propping up this illegitmate president who has us on a march to communism. i dont know how you can look yourself in the mirror knowing that you support a man who wants your brother to die and wants to take away our rights. the elections this year will be a reckoning and we will be taking our country back from socialist scum like barry sotero and you. enough is enough.

Well, that was fun. I almost don’t even know where to begin.

Let’s start with the whole “Obama is a socialist” and “the health care bill is socialism” thing, shall we?  Here’s a statement I received from the Socialist Party USA on the healthcare bill, ya know, because I’m a member of the liberal media elite:

March 22, 2009 – Co-chair of the Socialist Party USA, Billy Wharton, opposes the healthcare bill passed yesterday by the House of Representatives and scheduled to be signed into law by President Barack Obama on Tuesday. Wharton’s opposition is based on the belief that this bill is not a reform. Instead, it is a corporate restructuring of the health insurance industry created to protect the profit margins of private insurance companies.

The bill passed by the House yesterday would mandate all Americans to purchase health insurance coverage or face a fine. It would also create health insurance exchanges, an idea crafted by the right-wing Heritage Foundation, where people would purchase insurance from private companies.

Those not eligible for Medicaid but who still could not afford to purchase insurance would receive public funds from the federal government to purchase bare bones coverage insurance plans from private insurers.

Wharton opposes this restructuring on the grounds that the mandates allow private insurers to use the coercive power of the state to enhance their private profits. Insurance credits will serve as a public subsidy to private companies. It is yet another case of public money that could be used for necessary social programs being funneled towards companies that engage in practices that are abusive and detrimental to the overall society. He believes the bill is also a demonstration of how deeply corporate lobbyists and campaign contributions have infected the country’s political system.

“This is not a healthcare reform bill,” says Wharton, “It is instead a corporate restructuring of the American healthcare system designed to enhance the profits of private health insurance companies disguised with the language of reform.”

So, yeah, I think we can move on.

Here’s a pop quiz, what reform was originally conceived by Richard Nixon, advocated for by the Heritage Foundation in the 1980’s, written into the Republican counter proposal to Hillary’s health reform bill in 1994, advocated for by Newt Gingrich, put in place in Massachusetts by then Governor Mitt Romney and supported by Tea Party hero Scott Brown?  A health insurance mandate, also called a “personal responsibility principle” by Mitt Romney back in 2006. Now? “SOCIALISM TYRANNY ZOMG THEY’RE COMING FOR OUR LIBERTY AND GUNZ!”

Starting in 2014, the new law will require nearly all Americans to have health insurance through an employer, a government program or by buying it directly. That year, new insurance markets will open for business, health plans will be required to accept all applicants and tax credits will start flowing to millions of people, helping them pay the premiums.

Conservatives today say that’s unacceptable. Not long ago, many of them saw a national mandate as a free-market route to guarantee coverage for all Americans — the answer to liberal ambitions for a government-run entitlement like Medicare. Most experts agree some kind of requirement is needed in a reformed system because health insurance doesn’t work if people can put off joining the risk pool until they get sick.

Enough with all of this socialism nonsense. We’re not even close to being a socialist state, much to the chagrin of several WNYMedia bloggers. Claims that we are “marching towards socialism” are all politics, not principle. Smarten up, dummies.

Next time you’d like to dabble in the whole “America is socialist” thing, you might want to remember this fun fact, between 1998 and 2005, two-thirds of U.S. corporations paid no federal income taxes.

The “founding fathers” would be ashamed to learn that their great Republic now features 40% of the populace fighting on behalf of corporations to maintain their right to fuck the people over without consequence.

Also, next time someone wants to question my patriotism, he or she can kiss my liberal ass.

I have not enabled comments because I’m not interested in yet another round of mindless libertarian regurgitations stolen from writers at Lew Rockwell and Cato.  Get your own blog.

Government Healthcare

3 Sep

Adama aptly notes that Chris Lee (R, NY-26) is talking out of both sides of his mouth.

Medicare, Medicaid, the Veterans Administration hospitals, the Military Health System, SCHIP (which he should remember, since he voted in favor of it), and we must not forget the government-sponsored healthcare that he and all the other members of Congress get.

If the government is so bad at running health insurance schemes, then I fully expect Chris Lee to vote to abolish all of the above.  Seriously, you can’t have this argument both ways.

If these people are against socialized gubmint commie Muslim medicine, they need to immediately abolish Medicare.

Lies, Lies, Lies, Yeah

9 Aug

Remember how Sarah Palin resigned as governor of Alaska before she ever completed her first term, and how she couldn’t really explain what she was going to do next? Apparently, her new occupation is “makeshitupper”. Eager to solidify her reputation as someone who is ignorant and indifferent (i.e., “I don’t know and I don’t care”), Palin shat this from her computer regarding the current health insurance reform proposal:

Statement on the Current Health Care Debate

As more Americans delve into the disturbing details of the nationalized health care plan that the current administration is rushing through Congress, our collective jaw is dropping, and we’re saying not just no, but hell no!

The Democrats promise that a government health care system will reduce the cost of health care, but as the economist Thomas Sowell has pointed out, government health care will not reduce the cost; it will simply refuse to pay the cost. And who will suffer the most when they ration care? The sick, the elderly, and the disabled, of course. The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama’s “death panel” so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their “level of productivity in society,” whether they are worthy of health care. Such a system is downright evil.

Let’s stop right there for a second. There exists no plan for “death panels” or any other sort of eugenic euthanasia squad. This is two things; (1) a completely and utterly false scare tactic; and (2) a euphemistic way to bring Nazi Germany into the argument. To suggest that there will be a panel of bureaucrats deciding on who lives and who dies based on someone’s societal productivity is beyond irresponsible. It’s a lie, and a poor one, at that.

Incidentally, people with Down Syndrome find it particularly difficult to get health insurance under our current system, because it’s considered to be a pre-existing condition, and therefore uninsurable. That is, unless government steps in and mandates that health insurers cover pre-existing genetically caused developmental issues. Bad old government, telling business what to do.

Health care by definition involves life and death decisions. Human rights and human dignity must be at the center of any health care discussion.

Rep. Michele Bachmann highlighted the Orwellian thinking of the president’s health care advisor, Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, the brother of the White House chief of staff, in a floor speech to the House of Representatives. I commend her for being a voice for the most precious members of our society, our children and our seniors.

We must step up and engage in this most crucial debate. Nationalizing our health care system is a point of no return for government interference in the lives of its citizens. If we go down this path, there will be no turning back. Ronald Reagan once wrote, “Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Actually, a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we’ll ever see on this earth.” Let’s stop and think and make our voices heard before it’s too late.

- Sarah Palin

Rather than engage in any more point-by-point rebuttals of Palin’s nonsensical lies, I direct you to this rebuttal, the title of which quite appropriately invokes James Welch’s defense of Fred Fisher against Joseph McCarthy’s “reckless cruelty” back in 1954.

But if “Obamacare” can only be defeated by lying about it and making shit up about it, then its opponents have already lost a lot, and I’m not talking about legislatively.

A Nation Of Dummies

7 Aug

morans

Lately, I’ve been giving a lot of thought to whether or not America is capable of big things anymore.  Are we capable of having adult discussions about issues of import and making informed, cogent decisions about our collective future?  I’m not so sure.

I started to write one of my long rambling posts about this the other night and changed tack when I stumbled across this clip from George Carlin.  Now, it might seem odd to juxtapose an argument about the general dumbing down of America with a clip from a comedian, but it’s apt for the purposes of the discussion.

[HTML1]

George’s anti-corporate screed contains seeds of truth that I think many people in this country refuse to acknowledge or believe.  That, to some extent, we are pawns in a larger game in which we have no control.  We are slowly ceding the context of our national discussion to corporately controlled media and we fight partisan battles defending the status quo.

How did this happen?  Why do we have so little control over the debate?  Why is it that the current argument over healthcare consists of corporations warning against universal healthcare when no such thing is on the table?  Why do we have Democrats defending a healthcare reform package that essentially amounts to a blowjob of the existing insurance industry?  We’re not even arguing about the right things.  Yet, we still have morons marching around calling our President a Nazi and liberals thinking that any bill passed by the Congress will change the odds of the game even remotely in favor of the consumer.  Shoving matches and toddler-like tantrums at healthcare town halls are boiling over into threats of violence about a bill that hasn’t even been written yet.

You know why all of this is happening?  Because we’re a nation of dummies.  Borderline morons, mouthbreathing our way through life and doing the shuffle step necessary to stake out and defend a tiny piece of an America we believe still exists.

All of this reminded me of an article I read last year by Chris Hedges, a Pulitzer Prize winning reporter who is also a senior fellow at the (liberal) Nation Institute.  He bemoans the dumbing down of America and describes how our lack of education leads us to cede control of our country.

We live in two Americas. One America, now the minority, functions in a print-based, literate world. It can cope with complexity and has the intellectual tools to separate illusion from truth. The other America, which constitutes the majority, exists in a non-reality-based belief system. This America, dependent on skillfully manipulated images for information, has severed itself from the literate, print-based culture. It cannot differentiate between lies and truth. It is informed by simplistic, childish narratives and clichés. It is thrown into confusion by ambiguity, nuance and self-reflection. This divide, more than race, class or gender, more than rural or urban, believer or nonbeliever, red state or blue state, has split the country into radically distinct, unbridgeable and antagonistic entities.

Now, I rarely link to “real” leftist columns because the comments I get here usually stay within the existing meme of “Democrats are dummies too”!  This isn’t about Democrats or Republicans, it’s about who we are as a country and the underlying reasons we find ourselves without real control of the political narrative.

The Princeton Review analyzed the transcripts of the Gore-Bush debates, the Clinton-Bush-Perot debates of 1992, the Kennedy-Nixon debates of 1960 and the Lincoln-Douglas debates of 1858. It reviewed these transcripts using a standard vocabulary test that indicates the minimum educational standard needed for a reader to grasp the text.

During the 2000 debates, George W. Bush spoke at a sixth-grade level (6.7) and Al Gore at a seventh-grade level (7.6).

In short, today’s political rhetoric is designed to be comprehensible to a 10-year-old child or an adult with a sixth-grade reading level. It is fitted to this level of comprehension because most Americans speak, think and are entertained at this level.

If we can’t comprehend complex issues, we certainly can’t solve them. If we can’t solve them, we cede control to those who solve them to serve their own ends. It’s a fundamental breakdown of the original American promise.

The Dummy Chronicles

2 Aug

dummy.jpg (JPEG Image, 345x359 pixels)

In a new, irregular and totally random feature, I’ll address a media report that is so incredibly fucking dumb, that it can not be allowed to stand. I’m calling it “The Dummy Chronicles” because the reporter/commentator relaying it is a big, fat dummy or the report itself will result in dummies panicking after seeing it.

As the “computer geek” in the lives of many friends, I am often sent a lot of bullshit rumors/claims/reports about the impending doom of spyware/malware/internet hoaxes and asked to debunk them.  Today, I was forwarded the following clip from The Glenn Beck show on Fox News.  In it, Beck describes how the government is out to take over your computer simply because you are using the Cars.gov website which is the web portal for the “Cash For Clunkers” program.

Watch the dumb pour from your computer screen in this clip as Beck, Jonah Goldberg and some anonymous, buxom Fox news reader describe the site.  Absorb Beck’s Barnum-esque flair for the dramatic and feel the fear mongering.

[HTML1]

For the video deprived, in the clip, Beck reads the following end user license agreement language:

Let me show you what it does say when you pull it up. Can you bring up the full screen on what it says?

A warning box comes up, and it says, “This application provides access to the DOT CARS system. When logged on to the CARS system, your computer is considered a federal computer system and it is property of the United States Government. Or — any or all uses of this system and all files on this system may be intercepted, monitored, recorded, copied, audited, inspected, and disclosed to authorized CARS, DOT, law enforcement personnel, as well as authorized officials of other agencies, both domestic and foreign.”

Good God Almighty!

Beck uses the following words in his description of the site, the government and what could happen to John Q. Public if and when he logs into the CARS.gov website:

“Frightening”, “seizing”, “track you forever”, “nefarious”, “they can get all your information”, “evil people”, “wicked, crazy, frightening people”, “troubling”, “If you log on to this at your home, everything in your home is now theirs”, “Don’t do it”

All of this from Goldberg and Beck, both of whom supported Bush’s Patriot Act and warrantless wiretapping.

Problem with the segment that 4MM+ people watched live and online?

It is total, unadulterated bullshit.

What Beck fails to mention in this segment is that the part of the website he is referencing is the login portal for auto dealers, not the part of the site your Nana or Aunt Peg in Jamestown will visit when they research if they can trade in their 1975 Plymouth Valiant for a discount on a fancy new Impala.

You might also notice in the clip that the website Beck is accessing is blue in color, not the green one  Joe Six Pack would see while looking at cars.gov.  The login portal and subsequent EULA he is referencing is for dealers who are accessing a government system filled with non-public data; data like your VIN, license plates and drivers license numbers.  It contains sensitive information, so it is protected thusly.

Also, regular users of the site can’t even find the link that Beck references on the site by navigating around, the user would have been directed to the link, presumably through a communication with the Department of Transportation. Interestingly, once logged in, the dealer is redirected to another site administered by the DOT and the EULA the dealer must agree to prior to moving forward is as follows, in its unedited glory:

This application provides access to the DoT CARS system. When logged on to the CARS system, your computer is considered a Federal computer system and is the property of the United States Government. It is for authorized use only. Users (authorized or unauthorized) have no explicit or implicit expectation of privacy.

Any or all uses of this system and all files on this system may be intercepted, monitored, recorded, copied, audited, inspected, and disclosed to authorized CARS, DoT, and law enforcement personnel, as well as authorized officials of other agencies, both domestic and foreign. By using this system, the user consents to such interception, monitoring, recording, copying, auditing, inspection, and disclosure at the discretion CARS or the DoT personnel.

Unless you’re a dummy, reading the entirety of that warning should tell you that an auto dealer is not giving the government the right or ability to look at files on the dealer’s computer.  The EULA references files the dealer would submit ONTO THE GOVERNMENT SYSTEM.

This is all pretty standard language and not shocking in the least. The government is taking steps to make sure files uploaded to its site are clean and inline with the intent of the program. In fact, highlighting the text and performing a rudimentary google search yields nearly 1000 results on state, academic, and federal websites which use that exact EULA language.

Of course, Beck would rather you think that government socialists want to look at your family pictures, check on what porn sites you visit, and examine your .mp3’s to make sure you didn’t download them from a torrent site. None of which is true and is yet another sad chapter in Glenn Beck’s history of creating a sense of creeping totalitarianism while dramtically fear mongering.

Too bad so many people love this guy, it speaks ill of America that this guy gets a paycheck every two weeks to do anything but rinse mops at an adult theater.

This concludes this edition of The Dummy Chronicles. I hope you enjoyed it and you should forward anything you want highlighted to me in comments or via email.
