It was revealed yesterday that US trade with Iran had grown under the Bush administration despite all the angry talk and axis of evil stuff. This trade includes appliances, cigarettes, and other consumer goods.
When asked about it, John McCain said:

Why would we want to kill average Iranian civilians? Even if we went to war with Iran, wouldn’t the objective be regime change? What’s so funny about that joke?
…..really?
You’re going to bust on McCain for that joke?
Granted, it wasn’t funny but that’s more because jokes about how cigarettes are bad for you are preachy and played out.
There’s plenty of stupid stuff McCain has said that could lead you to believe he’s itching to kill Iranians but this really seemed like a harmless one-liner that came off the top of his head.
Oh and on a completely unrelated note, I got cut off by an SUV with a Mike Razzenhoffer campaign sticker on it yesterday. I was going to pull up next to him, flip him off and yell something about douchebags voting for other douchebags but turned before I could.
“Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran. . . “
Its looking like McCain may win in November, even MKG’s blog is degrading Obama.
Basically a yawn for this post…but it does deserve at least one clap for Pittsburgh’s Primanti Brothers…yummmmm…Colossal Fish & Cheese…
Yawn? This is a candidate for President joking about killing citizens of a sovereign nation. I’m not blase about yet another GOP embarrassment to our nation.
and Mary K. Goldman can go fuck herself….
“Barack HUSSEIN Obama” What the fuck????
Ah, the mark of any knuckle-dragging, mush-brained Bush apologist-cum-McCain voter.
@EMS
Yawn…double yawn…
barack hussein obama smokes….maybe he should move to iran so he can smoke and have talks with them. that mccain cracks me up!
pundit quoting goodfellas was comical enough — to me he’s more a winnie the pooh kinda guy — but now there’s news that the great jesse jackson, who i voted for twice, said he’d like to cut obama’s balls off for the way he talks down to blacks. hahahahahaha. that is way, way funnier than mccain’s innocuous and lame joke, though not quite as funny as pundit quoting tough guy joe pesci.
