since i’m sure my eponymously named stalker voted for me, thanks!

hey pundit, why no posting about how teh godless gays are all up in arms about obama picking this gay-bashing pastor rick warren to speak at the inauguration. olberman’s up in arms!

  4. Buffalopundit December 18, 2008 at 8:52 pm #

Probably because I don’t give a shit. Thanks for caring!

  5. mike December 18, 2008 at 9:58 pm #

  6. mike hudson December 18, 2008 at 10:18 pm #

pundit doesn’t give a shit about the gays?!?!? i’m shocked.

  7. Snarky Snarkmore McSnarkamaphone December 18, 2008 at 10:49 pm #

BP’s been pretty silent on all of Obama’s cabinet picks, other than Hillary… not yet ready to publicly announce your being hoodwinked by the Hope&Change guy, eh? ‘s’ok, you’re not alone. The Humanist is disappointed, too.

  8. mike hudson December 19, 2008 at 12:12 am #

rachel maddow — who’s hot now that nbc got her to doll up a little bit — feels personally betrayed!

  9. August West December 19, 2008 at 8:28 am #

Can I ask you for a dime, a dime for a cup of coffee?

  10. Buffalopundit December 19, 2008 at 8:33 am #

I got no dime but I got time to hear his story

  11. mike hudson December 19, 2008 at 9:42 am #

and this morning the chicago sun times is leading with a story about direct discussions between rahm emmanuel and blago concerning obama’s senate successor.

but let’s talk about the weather!

  12. Byron December 19, 2008 at 10:13 am #

I’ll get up and fly away, fly away.

  13. The Wizard December 19, 2008 at 10:22 am #

I’ve got a girl named Bonnie Lee. I know that girl’s been true to me.

  14. Buffalopundit December 19, 2008 at 10:26 am #

Wow! You mean a Congressman from Illinois who is going to work for the President-elect and former Senator from Illinois had a discussion with Illinois’ Governor about which Illinoisan will replace Obama as Senator from Illinois?! OH MY GOD!

No one gives a shit except for the paranoid right.

So, Hudson – if you’re unhappy with the topics I select, start your own blog or maybe put them in your topical weekly.

  15. mike December 19, 2008 at 10:31 am #

Hudson, what was in the Gazette this morning? I heard vinnie is getting a sweet job for the new mayor, sucks to be you.

  16. mike hudson December 19, 2008 at 10:32 am #

i love the topics you select pundit!

i love when you say things like,

“Wow! You mean a Congressman from Illinois who is going to work for the President-elect and former Senator from Illinois had a discussion with Illinois’ Governor about which Illinoisan will replace Obama as Senator from Illinois?! OH MY GOD!”

because, other than the fact that obama himself said THERE WAS NO CONTACT WHATSOEVER you are correct!

  17. mike hudson December 19, 2008 at 10:33 am #

i imagine you showed the same defensiveness after you voted for bush!

  18. Buffalopundit December 19, 2008 at 10:37 am #

Which Bush? I only voted for paterfamilias. Not for the younger. If you paid even a stitch of attention, you’d have known that by now.

But since you’re so well-informed about the ins and outs of Blagojevich’s conversations with Emmanuel, I trust that Patrick Fitzgerald will be the next scumbag to subpoena your sorry ass. Or is it just that you go to Drudge and regurgitate what you read there, here?

  19. August West December 19, 2008 at 10:59 am #

    Half of my life, I spent doin’ time for some other f*ckers’ crime;

The other half found me stumblin’ around drunk on burgundy wine….

  20. mike hudson December 19, 2008 at 11:19 am #

i know which bush you voted for, pundit. the “good” one. hahahahaha.

  21. mike hudson December 19, 2008 at 11:25 am #

and you cited the drudge report quite regularly here when his target was hillary clinton, so i just assumed you regarded him as a trusted source. have you changed your mind about the validity of his links.

because the link in question came from the chicago sun times, as i mentioned.

which really doesn’t get to the question — discussed at length last night by two of your other top sources during the election, rachel maddow and keith olberman — of why obama would select a gay bashing right wing ideologue preacher to speak at his inauguration.

other than the fact that you said you don’t “give a shit” about the gays and their concerns.

  22. Buffalopundit December 19, 2008 at 11:53 am #

No I didn’t. I said I didn’t give a shit about Rick Warren. Just like I don’t care about any other preacher.

  23. mike hudson December 19, 2008 at 12:20 pm #

    but rachel was personally offended!

  24. WNYPMH December 19, 2008 at 7:42 pm #

Don’t let Hudson bait you, Pundit. He is a master at it.

  25. mike hudson December 19, 2008 at 10:27 pm #

six weeks ago this was the all-obama, all the time blog. obama represented hope, change, a reason to live. hillary was evil, bill was a racist, ferraro was an enemy of human rights, even the simpleton palin was some sort of master manipulator bound to deliver the united states of america to her satanic master.

some longtime dems who, unlike pundit, never voted for anyone named bush, weren’t so sure. consequently they were called racists by people living in places like clarence (97.01 percent white!). fuck that.

since the election, obama has been largely absent here. the fact that he picked mostly clinton/bush appointees for his cabinet went unremarked upon. his choice of a gay bashing preacher who even the republicans would probably want kept out of sight to speak at his inauguration apparently didn’t trouble pundit, who has been, rightly, a vociferous supporter of gay rights in the past. and the involvement of his campaign with the corrupt illinois governor’s sleazy plan to sell obama’s senate seat for money is apparently ok here. fuck all that too.

during the next four years, as obama’s troop withdrawl plan for iraq fails, the economy crumbles and race relations continue to deteriorate in this country, we’ll see just how prescient these former republicans who elected obama were.

    my guess — not much.

shout out to queen carlotta, russell and hank.

  26. mike December 19, 2008 at 11:17 pm #

    yawn

  27. Jon Splett December 20, 2008 at 1:24 am #

You forgot Obama refusing to respond to critics of his marajuana policy when it became the #1 issue on change.gov.

    http://stopthedrugwar.org/chronicle_blog/2008/dec/15/the_real_reason_obama_won_t_supp

Anyone who expected Obama to pick a liberal cabinet or push progressive issues was deluding themselves. We elected Bill Clinton version 2.0. Makes liberals all warm and fuzzy inside so they don’t notice he’s a centrist.

Also, you’re suppose to thank Rome, I mean Alan, for the vine before you give your shout outs. You’ll never make the smack off that way Hudson.

  28. mike hudson December 20, 2008 at 7:23 am #

    now that’s funny, splett…

  29. mike December 20, 2008 at 8:57 am #

Whats wrong with “Bill Clinton version 2.0”? We all had jobs and made lots of money, hell i think even hudson had a real job then too.

I walked one day with a taste for trout, so I got in my boat and I headed out.

I vote for Glenn Gramigna. If he don’t want it, give it to Delano. If he ain’t happy with it, go with Hardwick. And if he can’t do it for reasons related to his work at Canisius, I suggest Greg Olma, former county legislator. He’d be good.
