    He’s got to know that something is about to happen.

    First off, two weeks is a ridiculous deadline.

    Secondly, what would happen if his deadline is ignored? Would it change anything? No. But if Bass Pro ignores the Higgins Deadline, it would make him look like he is all bluster, and completely without strength. The calculus leads me to believe that some one has given Higgins a gift of an opportunity to engage in some strong posturing.

    I hope he used his grown-up big Dad voice to make Johnny listen real close.
    Does anyone know what real clout a local congressman has in this situation? He does not control state funding; if there were any Federal funding involved, it would be directed to local entities, not Bass Pro.
